I bought a set of "80 gf" switches and I'm really satisfied with it. Thank you, Gateron!
- Aliaz is very silent. (I don't care about switch sounds but a keyboard switch shouldn't be loud. That's simply not lifelike at home or in your office.)
- Aliaz brings more resistance and it need firm force to press.
(I don't like when a switch accidentally pressed because of gentle touches. Therefore I hate almost all red switches. 😉 For me, red and brown switches are are too soft.)
- Aliaz gives firm tactile feedback compare to other switch when you pressed it. (I'm typing really fast (130+ WPM) and I usually type without looking at my keyboard so I have to obviously feel wether I pressed a key or not, so I need firm feedback from my keyboard which can't be a dumb clicky sound or the hit feeling of the bottom of the switches.)
- Aliaz let throught keyboard LED lights, so you can keep auxiliary light. (I don't care about bullsh!t features like RGB lights but LED backlight can be useful if you are looking for a rarely use character on your keyboard.)
This switch is undeservedly unknown in the mainstream media but far, far better than the most common red, brown or blue switches.
By the way, I think, Aliaz switch can give you the most similar press feel what you can experience on a membrane keyboard with much more reliability. And I think this is a very great feature.
